TheVaultDJ is the independent brand of a solo macOS developer based in France. I build native Mac apps for people who care deeply about their music collections.

The flagship product, MusicLibrarian, is a macOS utility that helps users clean up and maintain their personal Apple Music libraries — finding duplicates, fixing broken ratings, cleaning up ghost playlist entries, and diagnosing iCloud sync issues. It runs entirely on the user's own Mac, works on their own local library, and never transmits library data to any server.

How I operate

I design, code, and support the app myself — there is no team, no investors, no parent company.
MusicLibrarian is sold directly at thevaultdj.com and through Gumroad.
The app is notarized by Apple and distributed outside the Mac App Store.
Customer support and license delivery are handled personally by me, from thevaultdj.app@gmail.com.

What the app does — and what it is not

MusicLibrarian is a third-party productivity tool. It reads metadata from the user's local Apple Music library (via Apple's public iTunesLibrary framework) and helps them clean it up.

It is not a music player, not a streaming service, not a download tool, and not a replacement for Apple Music. You need an existing Apple Music library to use it.
